I went to NYIRP with a few buddies for a private track rental. I brought spare parts like a transfercase, and all 4 axles. Once everyone said hello we all started prepping the cars and unloading all the tools and extra parts and tires we brought.
I mounted up my drag radials and aired them down to 24psi. After shooting the shit and letting the cars cool down, I make my first pass of the day. I was short on the 2step and it seemed to bog just right as I cut a 1.56 60' but then missed second gear still running an 11.4 @ 132.
The next pass I stayed on the 2step a little longer continued doing so the rest of the day, which was actually resulting in worse 60's. This pass was
1.67 60'
7.07 @ 102.3
10.84 @ 132.46
The next pass was damn good minus the wheel spin.
1.62 60'
6.86 @ 104.93
10.56 @ 135.03
The last pass of the day was ok more so just a backer.
1.62 60'
6.94 @ 102.63
10.74 @ 131.34
That was the last pass of the day because I broke my alternator relocation kit. Which I irronically I was just saying to Chris- orzech that I didn't really trust the aluminum bracket and planned to make my own out of steel. I guess I jinxed myself.
Vids to follow.
Here is my alt touching the frame rail and the broken bracket.
Here is a pic of my finished engine bay for this year at least.

Dsm with stock bottom end on 93 oct runs 10.5 @ 135 |

I must say it was pretty impressive, I didn't race but it was a blast I was only home for 12 days but that was one of the better ones, between everyone racing and just seeing there cars it was great. And I got to the track just in time to film his 10.5 run and i was pretty impressed that car moved like no other and still has more left too from my opinion
Then on thursday i got to go for a ride in the car and wow that was insane, the car really moves and handles like a dream, I am really impressed. Deffinitly changed my opinion on getting rid of my car so that is a plus too, but deffinitly thumbs up to gary for a good clean build.
