This is an open lapping session (not a race) on the road course at Dunnville Autodrome. For those of you who have never been to a lapping day, Dunnville is about 1.5 hours away from Toronto or Buffalo, NY in Ontario and lapping involves competing with yourself to improve your driver skill and lower your lap times rather than racing wheel to wheel with other drivers. Do not be intimidated. There are more experienced drivers willing to help newcomers including explaining the basic etiquette of track days, lines to take on course, and more.

You don't have to have any special safety or racing equipment aside from a proper helmet. Cars must be in good working order, much like at an autocross.

Stock and modded cars are welcome. No bikes are allowed on the property.

There are generally 5-6 cars on the track at the beginning of the day and only a few towards the end of the day as most people can't stay on course and maintain concentration, or keep their car from overheating or cooking the brakes, for more than 15-20 minutes at a time. Smile

Innovative Tuning offers pre track day inspections at our shop with a checklist that you'll be able to bring to track days. This is not required, but making sure your car is in good working order in advance often avoids unpleasant surprises during tech on race day. Those with completed checklists from us signed within a few weeks prior to an event will be eligible for express tech inspection at the track.

If only i had a car, i doubt my 1500 p/u could make it through those laps. Looks like it would be a good time though.

If only they still allowed drifting...the pickup could be a lot of fun. LOL
